This illustration is inspired by one of the tarot cards — «the chariot». The card itself represents confidence, movement and drive forward, success in projects and the way to achievements, and also overcoming obstacles not with the help of someone but with your own work.
I’ve turned a traditional card into a modern one where instead of a rider sitting in a chariot with a baldachin, there’s a confident woman driving a sports car that is driving not by horses or sphinxes but by fast dogs, Dobermans. These dogs are depicted in black and white as a confrontation between good and evil which moves a person along the entire path to maintain balance.
By means of the composition and color intersections, I wanted to convey the movement itself the high skyscrapers, the road going in the distance, the light of lights of the city.
The rising sun means that human works hard day and night and that he undoubtedly expects «dawn» and success.
