Taurus, caught in a maze
The myth behind Taurus tells us a story of love, greed, betrayal, and wit.
It’s the story of a minotaur kept in a maze, as a symbol of king Minos’ greed.
Theseus eventually outsmarted everyone with the help of Ariadne. He slaughtered the minotaur and got crowned the new king of Crete, dethroning Minos.
This latest piece shows the previously mentioned maze as a reference to this myth. It also shows Taurus birth flower, the Lilly. I chose these colors, just because I thought they looked great together. Whilst later finding out that those colors actually represent Taurus birth colors.
