Libra's symbol on the zodiac is the scales, but I wanted to stay away from an inanimate object in this piece. I did some research and found that Libra's spirit animals are the wolf and the raven, and that Libra's flower is the rose. I also learned Libra's color is blue, so I chose to use a complementary color scheme of blue-violet and yellow-orange, along with shades of black and gold for the Libra symbol. I added the butterflies because butterflies migrate in Libra's month of September, and to balance the composition.
