Originally drawn as a fashion illustration for the Maison Valentino Open call on Draw-A-Dot. The Valentino Line was influenced by Greek mythology, Renaissance paintings, and Ziggy Stardust and Deborah Turbeville photographs. For my piece I used the greek moon goddess Selene who is in charge of bringing the moon across the sky every night. I also wanted to capture the iconic Deborah Turbeville's "dreamy and Mysterious" female gaze and presence at night.
